Influence of Alcohol and other Psychotropic Drugs on the Road Traffic Safety

The objective of the thesis is based on statistical data to assess the degree of risk of abuse of psychotropic substances in transport. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is mainly a search, dealing with the issue. The practical part has analyzed statistical data and the questionnaire survey, whose results are compared with the results of statistical data.
Social work with substance users in Karlovy Vary Region from the point of view of social workers

Introductions: The diploma thesis deals with the quality of social services for people at risk addicted or dependent on addictive substances in the Karlovy Vary Region from the perspective of social workers who work with these persons in the Karlovy Vary Region in contact centers and in outreach programs. For people at risk of addiction or dependent on addictive substances in the Karlovy Vary Region, social services for people over 15 years of age work well, as well as two aftercare clinics run by the non-profit organization Kotec o.p.s. and an addiction clinic run by the organization Světlo Kadaň z.s. The respondents with whom the research was carried out for the needs of this diploma thesis stated that it would be necessary to establish at least eight additional services for the mentioned group in the Karlovy Vary Region. The theoretical part is about basic concepts related to addictive substances used by young people, their prevention, risks and organizations in České Budějovice that deal with this issue. The practical part is mainly devoted to quantitative research in the form of questionnaire survey for elementary schools students in České Budějovice. The main objective of this thesis is to discover the level of knowledge and experience with addictive substances.
Addictive substances among adolescents

The bachelor 's thesis deals with drug use by young people. Its aim is to find out why juveniles use addictive substances, what life situations lead them to do so and whether seeking happiness or enjoying life can be the reason. The theoretical part will present fundamental concepts of the area of drug problems and emergence of addictions. The thesis will also focus on the ethical aspect and the possibilities of social assistance for juvenile drug addicts. The practical part will contain an analysis of the data collected in semi-structured interviews with five juvenile actors who struggled with addiction to addictive substances.
The unwillingness of addictive drug users to use Contact Center services in a small Town

Contact centers in small towns register the difference in the number of addictive substances users who use the Contact center services, and in the size of the drug scene which occurs in the given locality. People do not want to be seen going to the Contact center. This diploma thesis wants to find out the main reasons which discourage addictive substances users from using the Contact center services in a small town. In the theoretical part of this work, basic terms concerning the addiction area are defined as an insight into the given issue. It also deals with the basic methods of work with addictive substances users and in more detail it deals with the individual low-threshold programs which function in the Czech Republic and use these methods.
Drugs Issue in Tábor

The thesis deals with drug problems in the town of Tábor and its surroundings. The aim is to get information about Tábor's drug scene and the type of drug addicts in the area of Tábor. The theoretical part gives some general information about drug problems, explains some basic terms, reasons of their origin, development and treatment of the addiction. It is also focused on Tábor's drug scene. The practical part involves a qualitative research of six dialogues with respondents living in Tábor. They have been or are drug addicts or drug addiction has somehow affected their lives. The aim of the exploratory part is to find out what life with drug addiction is like and what reasons lead to it and whether drug addicts have common features and personal qualities.
Student's awareness of selected village and town elementary schools in the Rakovník district about the risk of using addictive substance - alcohol and tobacco

This thesis entitled " Student's awareness of selected village and town elementary schools in the Rakovník district about the risk of using addictive substance - alcohol, tobacco" is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of addictive substances, their history and describes the manifestations of addiction, treatment of addiction and prevention of addiction. Furthermore, the theoretical part is devoted to the problem of substance use by children and adolescents, the consequences and specifics of substance use in children and adolescents are described. Alcohol and tobacco are discussed in more detail. A chapter is also devoted to prevention. The practical part focuses on the investigation of pupils' awareness of the risks of using addictive substances - alcohol and tobacco - by evaluating a questionnaire survey. The results of the practical part showed that pupils had a fairly good knowledge of legal addictive substances, practically without distinction, whether they were pupils of a village school or an urban school. Risky sexual behavior and recreational drug use on the dance scene of Ceske Budejovice: correlation study

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to outline connections between drug use and high risk sexual behavior of visitors of České Budějovice dance scene. Methods: The results of this survey are based on the structured anonymous questionnaire answered by 100 visitors of diferent dance parties in České Budějovice. Results: It is apperent that use of drugs an high risk sexual behavior are directly related. The overwhelming majority of respondence who behaved irresponsibly sexualy or they consider their own behavior dangerous, have behaved this way under the influence of drug. In most cases alcohol was the drug of use, sometimes a combination with another drug. Closure: People with long life drug use are much more common at dance parties in České Budějovice if compared with general population. Resuluts have shown that most respondence (89 %) has at least one expirience with risky sexual behavior. Based on the results of this survey we can state that use of drugs and sexual risky behavior are directly related.

The Question of Self-induced Insanity The aim of this thesis is to cover the question of self-induced insanity in its complexity. The thesis is divided into eleven chapters, in which this part of criminal law is analysed. The topic of criminal liability of insane offenders (even those insane due to their own conduct) represents an interesting part of criminal law. One of the main reasons is the fact that the solution to the problem of criminal liability of insane offenders can lead to the breach of one of the main principles of criminal law - the principle of culpability - on one hand, or to the failure of one of the main functions of the criminal law - the protection of society and its interest and values against the most dangerous conduct prohibited by the law - on the other. The text is concerned mainly with the current legal arrangement of self-induced insanity in the Czech Republic. The legal arrangement in effect adopted the theoretical concept of a special criminal offense and a full criminal liability for the actio libera in causa construction.
